This game is definitely like another one's like oh man I would really love this as like an actual real game as well. It's a Sonic it's basically takes the Sonic Rush games but takes unleashed elements. So all these other games are usually using Sonic 1 you know the original Genesis games. This is a Sonic Rush game but instead of having like you know vertical two screens it's just there but like it just plays super well. It's got like lots of really cool elements that like you would get from like Sonic Unleashed like when you go past the post it goes like the like tick tick tick diddle it all that sort of stuff that like oh yeah really

Okay, this is something I've been dancing around since we started this podcast. So this game obviously was not released in a finished state. And the sort of going reasoning is that they wanted to make this competitive for the eSports scene, like we want to get this out for pro players to play. So we can get some eyeballs on streaming. eSports is starting to become sort of a global thing, not just in in Asia with Starcraft in, you know, League of Legends and other countries and stuff like that. Like, people are starting to make money off of this, we need to get our hands into that pie. So this game was clearly meant to be like basically made for hardcore players to play online so they can get ready for Capcom Pro Tours, which they were just starting to launch around this time too. So this only basically came out with modes to train you to play competitively against other people. Even the survival mode is kind of like a dummy for you to learn to do some of that stuff. It's not quite half life in which the world just feels contiguous. Even though there are loading screens separating different levels, you do feel like you're making your way through one well developed space that is just a hole that exists somewhere here.
