... level when you realize that it's kind of real and is actually happening and it works as in not not it technically works but you know it works as a space and the what the concept of a level isn't being faked at all it's you can really get to some weird ass places by slipping through the gap the gaps as it's moving and whatnot um yeah it's like an unreal achievement that amazing stuff so yep that's um that's my free pick and uh yeah i think it's a a 10 out of 10 game and yeah my favorite level from that game personally and uh next up okay so i'm not going to take a sonic cd level or anything like that for platforming level i'm going to counter program and take the shard the final level from mirror's edge instead um which is an unreal bit of first person platforming and combat design um it's just this fucking massive building the first shot of the level is you look up at this enormous skyscraper and then you're basically just sprinting around this like corporate labyrinth and it's everything mirror's edge does super well with like the best piece of music in the game i think um it's on spotify if i'm gonna go listen to it's just called the shard and it's just like it sums up the sort of dreamy dystopian soundscape of that game more generally and ends with you jumping onto a helicopter and booting a guy out of it it's just great stuff ...
