... I'll say below the other picks, I'll be upfront about this. I have somewhat shot myself in the foot by killing Chrono Trigger and murder Suicide Chrono Trigger and Earthbound which is depressing but the problem with Final Fantasy 4 as I see it and my understanding of it is that it is introducing and beginning to master a bit more narrative sophistication which obviously is then greatly improved as the series goes on which is why everyone loves Final Fantasy 6 in particular.

... Listen, I'm taking Final Fantasy 4 aka Final Fantasy 2 as it was released in the States. I actually haven't played this so I can't give it a sort of full bodied endorsement other than it too appears on many lists of best RPGs. I'll say below the other picks, I'll be upfront about this.
